Snappy is a powerful, yet amateur safe mare with easy to sit gaits and an easy going personality! Snappy had a previous career as a fox-hunter with her previous owner and was shown for the first time in the dressage ring by a 14 year old all last year, including going to USDF Regionals to compete in Dressage Seat Equitation, 1st Level, and 1st Level Freestyle. Snappy is currently schooling all of second level and some of third level. She has not started flying changes but I expect her to pick them up quickly. Snappy adapts quickly to different environments and is used to teenagers messing around with her! She is reliable at home, at shows, out on the trails alone or with others, in her stall, through obstacles and pretty much anything else you can think of! Ride her bareback and bridleless, dress her up in Halloween costumes, forget about her with the stall door open, this girl is as dependable as they come! Snappy does have age appropriate maintenance needs mainly from her former jumping career and wears front shoes year round. Snappy’s rider is ready to move up the levels and is wanting to qualify for NAYC, so we are looking for the perfect home for her! She’s been an amazing addition to the barn and I will be picky about where she goes!
